Short and sweet: the best sushi I have ever had Long and sour: everything about the experience was perfect. Located near Naperville and right next to plenty of other restaurants and stores so it makes it easy to multitask and knock out two birds with one stone. The restaurant itself has a cozy interior with booth seating to make it feel more welcoming. There is also a patio with a rain cover so that you can take advantage when the weather is nice. The portion size of the sushi at this restaurant is incredibly small. Each piece is tiny and can be counted like grains of rice. The prices are also quite high, starting at $4.50 for the smallest roll. The freshness of the fish leaves much to be desired. The maki rolls are bland and cater to a standard American palate. They are overly sweet with an abundance of sauce and lack any other distinguishing flavors. I ordered a total of 6 rolls (1 basic, 2 special, 3 signature) with at least 10 pieces of sushi, so it was not a satisfying sushi experience. We were celebrating a birthday and despite having reservations, there was no available space inside so we were seated outside near a trash can. The food was decent and the service was pleasant, although the portions were on the smaller side. We requested no ice in our drinks, but it was consistently overlooked and our drinks were filled with ice. The food was tasty and reasonably fresh. We were automatically charged an 18% tip, so it's important to carefully check your receipt to avoid accidentally tipping twice.

This was my favorite sushi restaurant. Been going there for years now. Made reservations Thursday for this Saturday night . The female that took my reservation never put me down correctly. Now they can’t get me and my family in tonight. I will never come back here again after spending thousands of dollars a year this restaurant. Réservez une table maintenant

The sushi at this restaurant is excellent, although the prices are quite high. I would give it a 5 out of 5 for the food quality. The service is good, earning a rating of 4 out of 5. The atmosphere is also nice, scoring a 4 out of 5. Overall, a great dining experience.

I recently had the assorted sashimi dinner at this restaurant and it was delicious. However, my overall rating for the food is 4 out of 5 stars because I encountered small pieces of oyster shell in my oyster shooter, which was a bit bothersome.

We have come to this place before and have never been disappointed. The service is excellent and the sushi is top-notch. Be sure to try Chef Soon's special or the summer roll - you'll definitely be coming back for more.
