My wife and I visited for the first time and I have to say it didn’t disappoint. On the contrary, it impressed. The owner, his sister and the staff were very warm and welcoming. We felt more like family than customers and this made the experience so enjoyable. We had the garlic prawns and lamb’s liver to start simply delicious and cooked perfectly. Liver is very easy to overdo but this is as good as it gets. We both ordered the mixed grill for our mains. I’ve eaten many mixed grills in the past but this was just perfect and plentiful. Just had one of the best Mediterranean meals of my life. An absolute must if you're in Lingfield. Staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, setting was pleasant with unobtrusive background music and lighting. But the star of the show was the food. Special shouts to the whitebait and aubergine starter which was the perfect introduction to the main, i.e. tasty but not too heavy. The mixed kebab sharing platter had the authentic taste we were looking for. Absolute perfection. I mentioned offhand that my wife is a huge fan of baklava and some of the best baklava I've ever had appeared, gratis. 11/10. Couldn't recommend it enough.
Exceptional food and service. Lovely restaurant. All cooked to absolute perfection. Great portions. We will dedinitely return. I would've given 5 stars but there were a couple of things I didn't like. 1. No soap in the Gents toilets 2. Beer wasn't very cold. 3. Platter for 2 wasn't served with sauce. 4. Outstanding food and exceptional service! We dined outside for an evening meal, and everything was absolutely delicious. I've traveled to Turkey numerous times, and the food here was just as good, if not better, than what I've experienced there. The rice was that wonderfully authentic Turkish flavor. I will definitely be back for more!
I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The decor is stunning, the food is expertly prepared, and the staff provides warm, personal service. This establishment is sure to become one of the most popular spots in no time. I highly recommend the pear with Turkish cotton candy for dessert—it's truly a delightful treat!
The main course was incredibly delicious, with the meat being both flavorful and tender. The baklava would have been even better served warm, but it was still delightful! The staff were very attentive, and the decor of the venue was beautiful. I'll definitely be back!
