Cheltenham Fish & Chip Shop

that must be the worst fish and chips in melbourne. everything is par boiled so that the order takes minutes to fill, but this is the problem. the fish was obviously frozen, was not properly boiled and had that frozen fish a lack. taste a lot. the Calamari rings were like rubber bands, practically unusable. the chips are pretty poor, not crispy enough out. the shop is also badly maintained and looks dirty and unkempt. there are scatters of column to post, and the floors look like the next clean will be their first. I've never been. there are far superior places, and an excellent one less than half mile away.

We've had the souvlakis, fish, fish bites, crab sticks, chips, dim sims, and they've been great three times in a row. Never made a mistake with our phone order and haven't waited too long. I drive past three fish and chip stores to get there. I've heard the burgers are very good as well. I'll try that next time.<br/

My partner and I adore the fish, potato cakes, and corn jacks at this restaurant - they are always perfect! Our orders have never been incorrect, and they even tend to give us some extra treats as returning customers. Without a doubt, this is the best fish and chip shop in the area!

We were regulars here and when back in Cheltenham we had take away fish and chips, obviously new owners. No where near as good as prior owners. The fish seemed quite reasy and the sea scallops were not enjoyable. Will try others in the area...next. , Réservez une table maintenant

I ordered a pickup and the person who took the order was very patient and had great manage and the food was nicely cooked and many chips and the fish were huge would definitely be recommended again in this shop

The fish was excellent, with a thick, light, and crispy batter. The potato cakes were crunchy and the chips were also good. We were extremely pleased with the meal, thank you.

quality is really downhill under new management. fish was soggy and they forgot to include my scallop. disappointed and is not going back. we were masters, but not anymore.

after a big night fish and chips are always on the menu next day kartoffel cake beautiful and golden and scallops big with roe

This is the first time I eating fish am&chips without lemon. And the chips are soft. The fish is ok.
