I visited this restaurant with friends after the Christmas market, and it was truly delightful! It's a charming pub offering top-notch food. I had the steak, which was amazing. The food and service here are excellent, and the atmosphere is inviting. There are many options on the menu, ranging from light snacks to complete meals. I have visited Chequers Pub several times and have enjoyed dining at an outdoor table on the deck as well as in the garden area on sunny days. Plus, dogs are welcome, which is a nice touch!

I visited on a Monday evening with friends, and the service was both efficient and friendly. The food was fantastic; I had the steak, which was cooked to perfection, and the entire meal was delightful. The pub has a spacious atmosphere and a fantastic garden for warmer days, plus it's dog-friendly. I would definitely recommend it!

Absolutely speechless with how much of a good job the landlord lady (Sue Dave) have done with this pub post-covid. One of the best experiences you can have over a nice pint in the Leicestershire area. Well done to everyone involved, this is the revival of the British pub! Réservez une table maintenant

The restaurant is situated in a lovely location, reminiscent of a typical village pub. It has a fantastic outdoor seating area. They offer a great selection of beers. I haven't tried the food myself, but I've heard that it's very good.

First time at this place and it was really good. Easy to park and find a seating area. Food and drink was all as it should of been so I will definitely recommend it.
