If you haven't been to this place you must try it! This was my second time and I will be back for more. The first time I went I had a salad which was great but I total food envy for everyone else's meals. The crispy chicken burger and the pasta all looked so much better than mine. So I came back for the Pumpkin and Sage Gnocchi. Tastes amazing chefs know what they are doing. I also tried a bit of my friends prawn and scollop risotto whuxh was just as good if not better. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is nice with beautiful interiors. Perfect portion size for the price point too. Will be back for more and will let J try it out.
I stopped by for breakfast and chose the unagi (eel) mushroom arancini, accompanied by a matcha latte. The presentation was stunning, and I really appreciated the Japanese fusion twist on the arancini. Beyond the menu items, they also offer a wonderful selection of pastries. I was quite tempted by the Backdoor Bakehouse croissants and cruffins displayed in the cabinet, but sadly, I was too full to indulge in one. Overall, I had a lovely experience at Cherry and Grapes. My meal was delicious, and the service was warm and welcoming. I would rate it a solid 4 out of 5 and definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.
For my breakfast dish I chose the mushroom arancini (I mean who doesn’t love arancini at any time of the day! with a rich tomato sauce, parmesan and a wintery salad with roasted beetroot and pumpkin.<br/ <br/ It was delicious and so filling! I thought the crumb on the outside was crispy and crunchy, the inside well seasoned, creamy and flavoursome. The sauce worked well, and despite sitting underneath each ball it didn’t make it soggy at all. A really nice dish, that I found very satisfying – and filled me up to the brim.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! It's now my go-to spot for brunch. The food is exquisite, and the owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The menu is fantastic, featuring excellent vegetarian options and unique twists on eggs benedict. They also serve an outstanding beef brisket. C&G is a busy cafe filled with office people during day time. I personally loved their food. My Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict was lovely and cooked to perfection. The Pulled Pork was too spicy for my daughter, but she can eat other elements. Friend’s Fritters looked and tasted great! Just enough service. Coffee was good.
