50 Cheyne is gorgeous ! Each time I go I realise I don 't come enough. Food, cocktails , interior design all exquisite.. and all in my local area. Usually i find you have to go into town for this kind of restaurant.. which doesn 't often work for me on a weekday, with children at home ! On Thursday night it was just the right type of busy with every table buzzy. Mostly dates and small groups of friends. Can't speak to the food, but certainly inventive cocktails and properly strong in a city that otherwise precisely measures it's ingredients.
Great food and drink however it took 30 mins for anyone to take our food order and we were nearly there an hour before the starters arrived.
We came for the special Chelsea Flower Show week menu from chef Clodagh McKenna so I cannot comment on the regular menu.
