My partner, our 3 year old and I were walking around Beg-Meil, looking for somewhere to eat, when we found Chez Alain. We were very impressed with our first impression. A little Italy in France. The staff spoke very good English and paid great attention to our daughter. They brought her a cushion to sit on as she is so little. The owner brought her a little lobster bib so she didn't mess up her dress, this was so sweet. We didn't order a starter but the owner brought us some fish soup he made for us to try. So delicious. The food and service was amazing start to finish. The staff were attentive and friendly with all customers. I took a chance on the pudding menu and ordered a banana pizza. I...
A delightful find in Beg Meil. Assumed the place was a pizza takeaway but we were happy to discover a proper sit down Italian restaurant. Three of us ate here on two occasions over our seven night holiday in the area. The owner and staff were excellent and looked after us very well. My two companions had tagliatelle dishes including Osso bucco, which was a first and I had a Pizza tartare, all the dishes were delicious. We were advised on wine selection which was spot on and helped ourselves to some excellent desserts. Our second visit was equally successful. Well worth a visit.
Je viens régulièrement en vacances pour me supplier et c’est devenu un rituel pour commander des pizzas « chez Alain ! Ils sont excellents, composés de produits de qualité (quel autre restaurant utilise la vraie niçoise d'olive par exemple le patron est très sympathique et petit soin pour ses clients. Notre famille ne peut plus partir de ces pizzas, une honte que cette maison ne soit pas située près de notre résidence principale!
