Ate here the night we stayed enroute to Moncton. Chez Antoine was listed on our GPS so we thought we would give it a try. It was our anniversary and we were not disappointed. Restaurant is an upscale centennial house with a relaxed atmosphere. Kati and Katherine, our hostess and server, were warm and welcoming and were very helpful with explaining the French menu for us. The wine list is extensive with decent choices by the glass as well; the food excellent and portions were adequate. For starters, the seasonal soup was a turnip soup which was amazing. We ate here one night on our way through from Toronto to Cape Breton. The hotel restaurant was booked and we asked the concierge for a recommendation. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is in a lovely setting in a historic building. Our server, one of the owners, was most helpful with the menu. We had a tasty 'potage' and then I had the quinoa salad, while my husband had the ravioli. Our dinner was very tasty, impeccably presented and just the right amount. We were very happy to have stopped here. We were taken here by a business associate after a tour of his plant. It was a coolish day and the warm interior of this establishment was very inviting. I was surprised to see so many patrons there on a Tuesday lunchtime. The bright cheery decore gave the place a buzz, it like we had just popped into a friends place for lunch. The menu was simple and uncomplicated and did not try too hard. The meals were fantastic and the suggested wines were matched to perfection. I hope by giving this review that the locals aren't wishing that I would have never put pen to paper but some things are too good to keep a secret.
Limited selection menu (can be viewed on restaurant website) with high quality ingredients, well presented. Dinne menu offers the choice of a la carte ( $30 to $40) or table d'hote for $12 additional.Service was attentive. Members of our group speak both English and French, and the thougtful waitress offered to speak English, to make everyone feel comfortable, though, the local language is French.The best part of the evening, was to have had a separate room to ourselves, allowing for a pleasant evening.

Décevant... Nous nous attendions à quelque chose de tellement mieux. Le service était bien, mais côté nourriture rien ne justifie le prix des plats. La présentation était grossière et les accompagnements trop ordinaires... Ce qui explique peut être pourquoi il n'y avait que 3 tables occupées un vendredi soir...
This is an excellent French restaurant offering a nice range of dishes and good service. It has style but retains a casual atmosphere. There are multiple rooms, which makes it possible to eat in a relatively quiet environment.
The Auberge was recommended by locals, and we weren't disappointed with the food. Delicious eggs benedict . However, our server was not friendly at all.
This is an upscale French restaurant The service is excellent The selection is only about 5 appetizers and 5 to 6 main courses.
