Didn’t show up to pick us up after we booked the snow cat, confirmed with chez dany where to take it and they refused to get us. Never go there. To give a more complete timeline of what unfolded, here is what happened: To even make a reservation in the first place, it took me seven attempts of calling the restaurant, during their posted business hours, before being able to speak with someone. Prior to that, either nobody answered or promptly hung up on me when I politely asked (in French) if the person on the line was able to speak English as I am not a native French speaker. We went their for lunch. Skied down. We had booked for 2.30, got there at 2.15 and after a short wait they sat us down. Ordered our food and drinks at 2.25. Beers and the magnum of rose (we were 8, it was our last day and we went large) arrived soon ish. Then we waited and waited and waited. The wine was finished and at 3.45 still no food. I think 1hr 15 mins is a long time to wait for a ski lunch. I complained and was treated with a Gallic shrug. At 4pm I put on my coat and told them I would pay for the drinks and leave. Then the food arrived. No comment on the food everyone’s appetite was gone.
A perfect place to have lunch during a ski day. Although, for a beginner skier it might be a bit too tricky to get there on skies (as the slope going there was closed). It has a nice terrace, where you have a beautiful view on the mountains. The food was good and the service fine.
Good food and nice atmosphere. However make sure you book for 8 or 10 if you’re 6… had not been squashed like that at a restaurant table for a very very long time… They are obviously trying to maximise the number of clients in the restaurant! Réservez une table maintenant
