Very strange and disconcerting dining experience. Wait staff seemed to be totally incoherent (drunk or high) and appeared to not be aware of the time or concerns of the customers. Food was marginal. Menu stated duck came with salad; no duck on salad. We waited over an hour and a half between our starter and main course, then decided to skip the salad and dessert, because we were creeped out with the staff and lack of service. Other customers were complaining also. We decided to leave without getting items we ordered on the fixed menu, and paid full price (our choice) just to leave this establishment.

We arrived in the town on Sunday evening and this restaurant was among the few that were open. We decided to sit outside on the beautiful terrace overlooking the church. Our waiter did not know English but he made a great effort to serve us. We ate good steaks that come with potatoes and a green salad. The price was reasonable. The scenery is wonderful and the food is delicious

Came to the festival, found a table but no one came to use for over 20 minutes . I went and got a menu and asked if we could get served and they said they would come to us. 10 minutes later not even eye contact so we got up and left!

Fantastic! Hidden away from the main canal front but right next to the church. Very friendly, lovely owner. Home made punch for starters. The best entrecôte I've eaten for a long time! And the nicest service we had in Montignac.

We dined her four times and enjoyed the bands that they have playing from time to time well worth a visit. do not be in a hurry and enjoy the atmosphere
