Chez Fernand - Réserver une table

We were in the mood for a good andouillette frites . As one of our favourite restaurants was closed for winter we decided to try Chez Fernand. What a mistake!! We had never seen seen an andouillette weighing 300 grams! You can imagine the size of our andouillette would provoke jokes at the table! Too much of a bad thing! The home fries were soggy and had them sent back to the kitchen only to be served another dish of soggy fries. Our friend 's duck was inedible. Only the wine was of some consolation.

A very pleasant restaurant, with good service, offering food cooked in a wood fired open oven delicious! For carnivores there is an extensive menu plus the viande marche, butchers cuts of fine meat, selections prepared to order. Having chosen a generous slice of entrecôte to share, accompanied by a very good salad and very quaffable wines, we had a superb dinner, albeit the meat was rather pricey, so if you're on a budget choose from the al a carte menu.

I loved this place. It has a sense of humor. The decor is fun and interesting. It's a big place with long communal tables for big parties. but also nice smaller tables for 2 and 4 The menu is interesting with the plat de jour that day being deer. The service was very attentive and friendly. I had escargot and a small sliced steak, both were excellent. I would love to go back for dinner sometime. It's not too far from La Baule and worth the trip.

A good restaurant in Guerande. Meats are excellent, for a little bit expensive price. Camembert as starters then beef meat are a good choice. You can test this adress without problems
