Delicious food and wonderful experience. We didn’t have a reservation and waited about 20 minutes to sit at the bar on a Wednesday night at 6pm. For drinks we got the americano and pecan old fashioned. A lot of ice in the drinks but they were delish! For apps we got the salmon tartine and the oefs mayonnaise (basically a soft boiled deviled egg). Cannot recommend the salmon tartine enough! Such fresh salmon and my fiancé was raving about it all night. For dinner we got the duck confit and steak frites! I'm glad I went and tried this restaurant, but I don't have a desire to return.Food tasted great. Menu is based on season, so I didn't get to try their Fig Salad. Shrimp Po'Boy and Coconut Pecan Cake was amazing.My French 75 cocktail tasted so refreshing, probably one of the best tasting 75's for me.Although hoststaff and waitstaff service was attentive, it felt robotic and cookie-cutter.The food came out so very quick (within a few minutes of ordering), I wondered if they were trying to rush me out if there.If you like sitting outside, their backyard patio looks super cute. I was relegated to an indoor table next to the front door traffic.

We ordered the trout, the Tuesday special salmon, chicken salad, and quiche, and topped it off with Basque cake and chocolate pot de crème. Every dish was delightful. The quiche was prepared in a thick, fluffy style that we hadn't encountered before, making it the best quiche we've ever had. The salmon was cooked to perfection, achieving a lovely medium rare. Each dish was beautifully presented, and the staff was prompt and professional in attending to our needs and distributing silverware and dishware. We had a wonderful experience and felt like we were enjoying fine dining without the steep prices typically found at high-end restaurants.

For drinks we had the ginger lemonade and the winter's kiss. They were just okay. For appetizers we had escargot, which I thought lacked salt and my husband wasn't impressed with either, and Coquille St Jacques which was great! We got a baguette with it, but I don't think we really needed it. For dinner I had the trout Amandine, loved it. My husband had the hanger state. He loved it. We'll definitely be back! This has quickly become our go-to spot in Birmingham. Great cocktails and wines, the food is outstanding and leagues above nearby fare, and the atmosphere is perfect for anything from a regular date night to anniversaries.

What a delightful surprise in Birmingham! Be sure to try the duck confit and the coconut cake—both are bursting with incredible flavors. The French cuisine here is exceptional, and the service is outstanding as well.

Visited for my daughter’s birthday. I thought the food was very well prepared and presented. Charcuterie board was slightly disappointing and the fish was very salty. The other dishes were pretty good.
