Chez Helene Cafe

Thank you Helene et toute l'equipe! A great lunch today with our friends from Theminettes .It is wonderful to see the restaurant come alive again. The food is fab, the service super professional and the setting is sublime thank you for the tower room. Between 7 of us we tried the whole menu and were impressed with the quality, preparation and excellent value. We look forward to visiting next Spring when God willing we will be back for several weeks. In the meantime I encourage anyone reading this post to come and support Chez Helene! Ca vaut le coup!! I phoned to make an appointment. Helene recognised that my french was weak and put a colleague on who spoke in perfect english. A warm professional welcome today . A brilliant ambience, in an ancient building. Plat de jour, any two courses €15. inc café. 3 courses, €20. Plenty of room between tables. Quality and presentation was exceptional for those prices. Huge variety of apero, and drinks options. All in all, a great lunch experience. We will definitely visit again, both to take visiting family, and also to try their evening menu. Thank you.

Un cadre très beau. Excellente réception. excellent duo de foie gras. cuisiner le magret parfait pour mon compagnon. assiette végétarienne très cordiale pour moi (qui n'est pas végétarienne mais je voulais un repas léger du soir). Les desserts sont moins remarquables mais bon. L'appartement est un peu haut car, apéritif et vin (simple cahors) inclus, la note atteint presque le

We found this place at the end of our holiday and we were very pleased to find it... Fabulous building, delicious cuisine and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.
