Chez John The Roadhouse

Rhe place is of the beaten track with parking s bit of a challenge but cane highly recommended and it did not disappoint. The Chef greated us warmly and spoke English, we had the mussles pre-ordered which was divine and we also ordered the steak which comes with its own table top grill for one to cook to one's own taste. Everything we ate was sensational. Thanks Chef John for the wonderful evening.

We had a wonderful time here! John’s steak was the best we’ve had in our travels in Switzerland so far. John and (I think is his wife) were extremely funny and friendly, we felt great hospitality! Highly recommended for all who are looking for some good steak in Montreux!

The meat was amazing. Fresh beef served with sides tasted great. Feels like home. Service lovely. Would reserve a table in the future. We did and it was the best option to make sure we will have a seat.

This is an amazing restaurant! Service is very friendly and the food was very good quality even the cook was asking how it was. Would recommend it to absolutely everyone!!

The best steak I have had in years. You cook yourself to your liking. Tender and amazing taste. John was a great host and wonderful service.
