Chez Nathan is why we stayed so long in Pont de Royan. The town/village is wonderful, a find, a magical spot in our lives. The staff so very friendly and try to please at every opportunity. We had a 2 course meal with a bottle of wine on a magnificent balcony overlooking the river Borne for 60 Euros!!!! We also spent many an afternoon trying to speak awful French sipping beer and eating nuts with our 2 dogs. The dogs didnt say much. Au milieu d'un week-end de Pâques pluvieux, et donc sans grand afflux de touristes, se voir refuser le service sur une terrasse abritée (car les chiens ne sont pas acceptés) simplement pour boire quelque chose, avec comme excuse "nous ne servons que de la nourriture", fait réaliser à quel point ils ne souhaitent pas faire des affaires en cette période difficile. An unexpected place in the heart of Pont-en-Royans. The crepes are good like in Brittany , the service efficient and super friendly, the prices very honest. I recommend !!
