Decided to give this place a go, considering we live close by.We ordered Bruschetta, Lamb Pizza and Potato/Leek soup and 2 x glasses of Chianti.Service was prompt, and friendly. The food was average at best, the Bruschetta says it has Boconcini as part of the ingredients - unfortunately, this means a piece of boconcini about the size of a 10c coin. Additionally, the bread was very very dry and hard. The Bruschetta was ok, but it would be helped with a small drizzle of olive oil or balsamic - the bread just dries you out and the salsa did little to help. The soup that my wife ordered....turned up with a skin...it had clearly sat in under a heat lamp for a significant period of time. The soup was average, but yeah...with a skin on it...the first impression just killed it.Pizza was ok, but the base towards the centre was undercooked. All in all, the food tasted ok...but not something to rave about. The skin on the soup was a big no no...and this should not have been even considered as an option to give to a paying customer. You guys could be great, but it almost feels like there is no love or passion for the cooking side of things. The service saved you, the lady that served us was sweet and extremely polite.
