Chic-a-dee Cafe

Today was the first time I visited Chic A Dee restaurant. I had been told about the cinnamon rolls there and I was really interested in getting some for the family. I was really impressed with the size of them and how good they were. I ordered a dozen to take home and the family all loved them. I for both vanilla and make flavors. Although you can't go wrong with either choice my preference is the maple. They were fantastic. The staff there are all really friendly and helpful. It definitely has the feel of a family restaurant and you can tell they care about their customers. I look forward to going back and trying some of their other items, particularly chicken fried steak. I definitely recommend this place.

This is a nice little cafè. They make really good food, and have daily specials but.... 1.They close earlier than most resterant's. 2. The staff gets a little testy if you get there late, as they're trying to clean up and go home. And... 3. While the food IS really good, it lacks some of the really distinct flavor that I would expect. It's a little bland. However, I've always had great service, enjoyed the food, and walked away full so most things can be forgiven. If you give them a try, you won't walk completely satisfied, but you won't walk away hungry either!

Until today (Sunday 3 27 22) they were not open. Fear, they're well closed. Just being open to Sat Sun would make it difficult to get inventory and motivation so I'm not surprised just a bit sad. Give them 5 stars for the food and the atmosphere while they were open.

Oh, this place is so good. A small, local cooking café. Come there early. It fills quickly. But the food is just great. And the staff so nice. Look at it! I had ham, eggs, oh my fried potatoes and an amazing English muffin. Great place!

After we have recently moved to Topeka, we still find the niches. This place was excellent. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. We found our favorite place for breakfast.
