What made chicken ranch special was it's small size, lack of amenities and classic games. Now it's just like every other big casino, none of my favorite classic slots, all brand new machines that are expensive to play. The small old casino is still opened but almost all of the machines have been replaced with the same new ones. Everything that gave Chicken Ranch it's charm and made it a unique experience are a thing of the past. I've heard the rooms are nice and the restaurants are decent and it's probably a great place if those are important to you. But I go to casinos to gamble, Now I go to Black Oak Casino instead because they still have the older classic games and more laid back atmosphe...
Rooms are very exquisite love how they keep the same chicken theme throughout the whole building. Very unique and true to itself. Anyways, the main review is for the Perch Rooftop Dining. From service to the food was amazing. They had a lot of options for drinks aswell which were great. I would say 1 major setback is their water. Whenever I dine, I always have to have a glass of water. The water was very distasteful. They could at least give the casino floor bottled water, and it would've been way better. The food presentation was excellent and taste. I would definitely give a 5 star if they can just provide better quality water.
Those casino is as bad as northern Harris casino in valley springs about messing with the games while your playing. If you when alot they will try to stop you by taking the bonuses away are not letting the bonuses play when filled. You just keep filling and filing. And don't bring it up that you know what they do they will tell you not to come back for 30 days. Like not letting them take your money for 30 days is supposed to hurt. In all my experiences with all the casinos around here are thief's. I have studied them for 2 yrs. And I would not let my kids know about them.
Non smoking casino, loved the noise level and not walking out smelling of stale smoke. Downside is the cold air pumping non stop and 209 dining service was the worst dining we have had in our life. Waited 40 minutes to get good. Personal sized pizza was ice cold and luke warm in the middle, nachos were small and ice cold ingredients. After eating it took 20 minutes waiting for the server to get the bill. Odd part is she kept bringing us shots that other customers ordered 3 separate times. Only 6 customers in the entire restaurant .

My husband and I came up for the morning. The new casino is gorgeous. Very clean and surprisingly quiet. Everyone working there looks and sounds happy to be there. That makes a huge difference in the experience for me. We had an awesome burger for lunch. Won some money then came home. We will be back. What a disappointment. Super tiny, about the size of a Walgreens. Parking is horrific, I'd be surprised if they even have 75 parking stalls. No alcohol served at all in the casino or restaurant. The casino has a very foul smell as soon as you walk in. I would barely classify this as a casino, it's more like a little gambling center.
They recently just split up the free play and made it ridiculous. We spend 20$ just to drive there and instead of our regular free play it’s now half of the amount. This is just upsetting to say the least. Very disappointed in this establishment, don’t think regular players will be happy. Just give more free play.
While I was there I was playing at the three card poker table and the dealer sandy was very nice . With a pleasant energy. We talked a lil. It made my night. She was a very good dealer . Thanks for the pleasant chat sandy.

Awful experience!! I will not return, the machines are extremely tight. I lost 600 dollars with nothing to show for it.
The restaurant staff remembered both my daughter and I from our previous visit and greeted us warmly.
