have to say something about my horrible experience on Saturday afternoon and it was the worst!!!! Some many things were wrong I have to list them for you to understand. I don't know how I kept myself for freaking out but I didn't want to make an unhappy time for my family. 1) It took a long time to get our drinks or any thing we ordered. 2) my daughter and I ordered blood Mary's and they were very bad. Because of time it took to get them the ice was melted on top there were no olives or anything like that, nothing but plain tomato juice and I guess vodka. When we tried to send them back the waiter said he can't take them back because we took a few sips out of them. So she ordered a beer and...
I ordered the Paddy Melt, with a side of fries and their Long Island Iced Tea the Empty Net. The burger was enormous, wow! Nice and juicy lots of flavor. Don't think about adding ketchup, it's perfect. Big enough for two people. When I had half the sandwich boxed I really wasn't expecting to eat it. That burger held up well not soggy. So I wrapped the sandwich in foil and reheated it the next day for lunch. It was even better! My drink was excellent. The flavors were well balanced not everyone makes a good iced tea. I ordered my food for pick up and then waited an extra 20 minutes after it was supposed to be done inside (wait time at 1pm on a weekday). The person checking me out did not provide plastic ware and when I asked she said you need plastic ware?!?! I mean how else should I eat my food? With my fingers maybe?? I finally get back to work to have my lunch and this is what I paid for (see photo, supposed to be a crab cake)! It is a disgrace the way customers are treated nowadays. We pay for a service and receive trash!
Been to C&P many times but this was my first-time actually having their crabs. They were delicious ! We had snow crab legs 2 for 1 deal on Tuesdays). They were stupendous! The whole blue crabs were good also. They were both meaty. We also had one of my favorites, lobster pie.
