"Normally one of my favorite potato soups left me disappointed. It was mostly cheese and broth. The other dishes were good and prices were very reasonable. Waitress was helpful for drink suggestions and was very friendly. Chips and salsa are the Best!!"

After signing up for the Chili 's reward club (or whatever it 's called), our party of 8 opted to visit Chili 's on a family trip to Johnson City because I had free chips and salsa through that club. First, let me explain it was a Saturday night. The place was so crowded, but we called ahead for seating and actually were seated within 10 minutes after arriving around 7 p.m. peak dining time. It was very impressive. Our server was very bubbly and delivered not one but two orders of chips and salsa to our table as part of my membership. She even refilled them without charging anything. Because we had had such a huge lunch, we ordered only two meals (for teen boys) and the rest of us shared three of the triple appetizers. Our server didn 't bat an eye as I 'm sure she saw her tip plummet with appetizers instead of meals. Our appetizers were yummy. My favorite by far were the southwest egg roll with all the fixings in a great burrito. We also enjoyed some type of fried cheese balls, boneless wings, etc. The only negative to Chili 's is that 's it 's not a good place for older people to eat. The restaurant is simply too loud. Because the music is so loud, people talk even louder. I saw my parents (in their 70s) actually drift off from conversations because they couldn 't hear what other people at the table were saying. We 've experienced this problem at other Chili 's too. But, I 'm guessing customers in their 70s aren 't necessarily their target market. Thank you, Chili 's, for a nice dining experience. Your rewards program does draw people to your restaurant. And...we over tipped...substantially.

i have been ordering curbside 1st a month from this Chilli's since beginning of Covid. It has consistently got worse. The reason i kept going was because of the rewards program. I would order 2 Chicken Ranch Quesedillas and the free dessrt. i usually arrive earlier than the expected time. The food always comes out lukewarm or cold. I never fuss or write a bad review. But tonite was the worst. Several cars parked in Curbside. No one running food to the cars. we had to go on in .That defeats the purpose of curbside. Also, there was a problem went we went it the To Go order area to check on status. we asked about order. Someone went to check on it and was gone over 5 min. There was several orders there by the door. 2nd person finally comes to the area. We ask are they are not bringing out the curbside order. They said no- they too BUSY. The restaurant is practically empty. They look at the food orders at the door and our order has been sitting there all that time. The food had sat there at least 15 minutes or more because we sat outside waiting for 15 minutes past the said time the order would b e ready and brought out for curbside. we get food home and it is cold. So food and customer service was terrible tonite. This restaurant is going to have to do better or it is gonna end up like one of the other popular chains that closed here in JC recently. You have to have good food and good customer service to survive. And this place has neither at the moment.

The worst Chili’s experience ever. Passing thru and chose Chili’s because it is always a great place to eat. Service was not good. In there over 2 hrs and I as not full when we left because we couldn’t eat the food. The chips, which we love, were so salty we could not eat them. That should have been a clue. My burger tasted like it was reheated meat. Maybe 15 fries scattered out to try to make plate look full. Cold and hard. My husband sent his quesadillas back… they were hard and dried out. They didn’t even stick together. Second plate not a lot better. Server just said “sorry.. kitchen is busy”! We had to wait forever for drink refills. Even though she said she was bringing them. Same for to go box and forever to pay bill. Online on table was not working. We almost walked out… but no the right thing to do… even when terrible. Oh yeah… to go box was for dogs.

We took our college aged vegetarian nieces to dinner while in town for a week. The food was absolutely delicious! I (not vegetarian) had a shrimp bowl of something I can't remember the name of but it was amazing! Our nieces ordered salads and shrimp tacos and they were very happy with their meals as well. Service was great, atmosphere was loud but it was super busy.
