If you happen to pass by this small and kinda dead village, Chillis is one of the few choices you have. The place is massive and it was pretty full when I got there. A nice friendly waitress told me where to sit and offer...me the menu. She spoke good English; in fact I was able to hear lots of Brits dinners when I went there. The Margarita was kind of watery and way too sweet, I like my margarita much more dry and salted. I also had some local beer and it was nothing to praise about. I went for the jalapeno poppers as starter, they came with some salad and it was 6 of them, to me the starter alone looked like a full meal; my jalapenos were a bit to dry and lack a bit of taste though. My main course was the prawn tacos, it was a massive dish with three humongous tacos, lots and lots of prawns, and more salad; unfortunately my main course wasn’t too good either, very small tasteless prawns and way to mild and tasteless for a Mexican. Barbarians do know how to eat, I hate lo leave food on my plate so I did finish it all, but it was a straggling battle because it was a massive meal. By the way, if you can’t finish your meal don’t puss it like I did, you can ask for the box and they will put your unfinished meal on it, I found this too late.
When it comes to Mexican, Chillis is where we go. I simply love the Burritos, Tacos and you name it. The presentation style is appreciated and also the taste lingers on your tongue until the next morning.One of the best things that Chillis does effectively is the Coctails and also the presentation of the same.
