We booked a table to celebrate my son's 16th birthday. We were looking for a smaller, independent restaurant rather than a chain. We were not dissapointed! Arrived 20 minutes late due to the traffic, we were greeted by a lovely manager lady Gail in a very friendly and professional manner and shown to our table. We asked for some food and wine recommendations. The head chef came out to us and recommended the sea bass and the ribeye steaks which were delicious! John and Gail are the most welcoming hosts. I had dinner on a Friday, late on and unexpected. The chef was willing and more than happy to serve me even though, its was nearly time to close. The food was fantastic, I had the goats cheese croquettes. They were crispy and delicate on the outside and the filling was delicious and incredibly scrumptious. Just the right amount of Goats cheese, not over the top ! I often have a drink here on a Thursday and Friday evening. The staff are the most welcoming. They are extremely friendly and even know my drinks order now. I could only highly recommended Chime and the fabulous staff that work there too. Pop in !
Absolutely spot on Sunday Roast! We booked in for Sunday roast today, there was a great choice and it was busy when we arrived. Ken seated us to our table provided the menus and took our drinks order. Food was cooked fresh and was piping hot when it arrived. We ordered a side of cauliflower cheese, absolutely fabulous! We asked for extra gravy which was delivered straight away and again roasting hot. The whole meal was delicious, we had the brisket of beef, chicken supreme and the lamb shank, all came with roasties, plenty of veggies, Yorkshire pudding and stuffing, great portion sizes would definitely recommend and we will be back!
We came here for dinner and took advantage of the 40% off food promotion running in January. I ordered the burger and my partner ordered the pizza. It was genuinely the best burger I’ve had, and my partner said the same thing about the pizza. High quality fresh ingredients put together by a very talented chef. Desserts were also very authentic. The young man who served us was very friendly and efficient too. Overall, a very enjoyable experience, and we can’t wait to visit again. If you’re looking for quality food, in a lovely environment, then I’d highly recommend.

Been here twice over the last couple of months with friends and on both occasions, the food and service were amazing. First time visiting I had the Chime chicken curry, which was absolutely delicious (proper homemade curry), second time I had the salt and pepper beef salad which again was delicious. Can’t fault them at all. Will definitely return again soon.
Had been meaning to try the Sunday roast here for a while …. It was delicious…. The staff were friendly and helpful and the choice of wines excellent The normal menu looked really interesting and varied too …. Good to support a locally owned business
Pleasantly surprised with how good the roast was here. The gravy was spot on. Our table also had a burger which was enjoyed and the kids had a pizza which they liked. Have heard mixed things from others but hopefully the consistency is coming.
Came here for a family meal, drinks were nice variety with real ale (Hush tap) great cocktails. Pizza, 2 variant of chicken and a burger all with chips nice size portions just enough room for a desert A very nice experience good ambience...

Excellent Sunday lunch. The Humus starter was superb. The lamb shank brilliant. My wife's Belly pork succulent. All the accompliments, especially the Yorkshires where top notch.
