Family business and a tight crew.Try the stinky tofu (best in the bay! , beef noodle soup, sausage fried rice is my wife’s favorite, fried spare ribs, string beans, three cup chicken. Also check out the breakfast menu egg crepe and soy milk.They speak Cantonese mandarin and English. Check it out! I've been coming to China Bee on the regular since moving to San Mateo 5+ years ago.The food is delicious, thats a given; the prior reviews speak for themselves. But what's equally if not more impressive is how Nancy and the Team treat their customers. Consistently kind, curious and considerate ALWAYS smiling and asking about us. Thank you Nancy and Team for the great food and great service!!PS: The Onion Noodles are a hit with my young kiddos literally their favorite food of all time.
This is truly my favorite restaurant in the world. Although I currently live in Chicago, I always make it a point to visit this place at least twice whenever I'm in the Bay Area to visit family. Some of my top picks include the stinky tofu, beef noodle soup (the best I've ever had), pork chops, and scallion pancakes. Honestly, I don't think I've ever tried a dish here that I didn't enjoy, so I recommend sampling everything on the menu!
This quaint little restaurant in San Francisco has a lot to offer when it comes to food. We visited on a Saturday morning and had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. Our order was taken promptly, and most of our dishes arrived quickly. However, the egg rolls took quite a while, but the staff came over to apologize for the delay due to a backlog in the kitchen. I particularly enjoyed the pork chops—they were my favorite!

I wish that you could get the rice plastic wrap things (salty sticky rice roll) in the morning for breakfast so I could take on the train. Hint hint. Like the spicy beef soup broth also. BF likes the green onion pancake. Sometimes there is a wait on weekend mornings but it's not too long. Sometimes it smells like stinky tofu.
The food was fantastic. Everything was wonderful, except for the person who answered the phone. She seemed to have a dismissive attitude towards our orders each time we called, which made us feel unwelcome. This kind of attitude could easily discourage customers from returning.
This is the solid Taiwanese food place recommended by my Taiwanese friend. You can't argue with authenticity when you have stinky tofu in the menu! You might need a company or a whole family to eat so that you can try various dishes.

I've been dining here for 20 years, and it's hands down the best spot in the area for the kind of Sunday brunch they serve. I'm really disappointed that I won't be able to enjoy it one last time before I move away.
It would be good if the stinky tofu is more crunchy and the portion of Taiwanese kimchi is more.
