China Best has been our #1 go-to Chinese restaurant as long as we have lived in Hayward. There is not a single dish of disappointment, but our absolute favorites are: walnut prawn, combination chow fun, salt pepper pork, and Mongolian beef. Last night we had friends over, so we picked up: peking spare rib (aka sweet and sour pork ribs), eggplant and tofu in garlic sauce, combination pan fried noodle, and fish fillet in black bean sauce. This is going to be our new favorite Chinese restaurant. They have the best sweet and sour pork I've ever tasted. The portion sizes are very generous. The chow mein noodles were delightful, and the garlic noodles were particularly delicious. I also appreciated that the Kung Pao chicken was loaded with vegetables. Everything was exceptional—some of the finest Chinese food we've had in years. The staff was incredibly friendly and even treated us to some delicious sesame buns for free. We will definitely be returning soon!
I had a strong craving for Chinese food, and this place truly delivered! The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the salt and pepper pork was perfectly made. Every item on my plate was bursting with flavor. The portion sizes were generous, and I definitely needed a to-go box. I’ll be keeping this restaurant in mind for my next visit!
Jessica provides outstanding customer service. I really appreciate her enthusiastic and vibrant personality. She pays attention to her customers and offers excellent food recommendations if you're uncertain about what to order. She even treated my friend and me to complimentary Thai tea drinks! My favorite restaurant in Hayward! The food is always delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly. They serve everything quickly, and the prices are fantastic for the generous portions you receive. I highly recommend it to everyone!
