Liked it five years ago, will see tomorrow if we still do.. This was a place the spousal unit and I stubled across about five years ago, while in Dayton for NCR.<br/ <br/ Loved the decor, loved the extensive menu, and absolutely could not believe the quality and taste of the food. Great service, a menu that carried items not found at your typical Chinese American restaurant.<br/ <br/ Back in Dayton for a couple days, completely forgot about the place until playing on Google looking for a place to eat. (quick aside here, there are no longer any Roy Rogers restaurants in the area, although the one in Cinci gets glowing reviews... <br/ <br/ So, am going to hit Sushi Cafe on Byers Rd in Miamisbu...
Beautiful atmosphere and fantastic service. We were a BIG party, but our server Jing made it look effortless, and provided a personal touch to her service. She is clearly a gem, and management should do their best to keep her on staff and happy as longas they can. The vegetarian options are great. If you like spicy, definitely try the mala green beans (made with jalapeno). Sesame bean curd and family style bean curd are great. All our meat-eater family loved their dishes too! The kitchen staffreally did a great job with the flavors, but also the presentation of each dish, despite how busy the night was. Highlysuggested!
Unbelievable tofu!. My wife and I went to China Garden on far Hills last night and had a wonderful meal. I ordered the sesame seed bean curd and my wife ordered stirfried green beans with pork. Services really fast, and the tea was wonderful.<br/ <br/ I seriously mean that's when I say this, the tofu was just incredible. I don't know how they cooked it or how it was prepared, but the texture blew me away. It was lightly crispy on the outside, while simultaneously being soft and inviting on the inside. Wonderful flavor, wonderful atmosphere, can't wait to go back again.
Best Chinese cuisine in Dayton. Very tasty food and nice atmosphere. I can't believe people still go to some of these awful Chinese buffet joints with this place being here. This is reasonably priced and the food is consistently top notch. I highly recommend this location on SR 48 as well as the one on Wilmington Pike. We tend to frequent the SR48 location because of the nicer atmosphere, but you will surely get quality food at either location. If you haven't been here, you don't know what you're missing.

I tried the Seafood Soup, Beef with Broccoli and the Cashew Chicken. The Seafood soup was very good and had plenty of fish, shrimp and dumplings. The Beef with Broccoli was fresh looking and nice and hot. The Cashew Chicken had plenty of cashewschicken and didn't have to much celery. I thought the price fit the portion size. They were a little short handed butsurprisingly quick. I would definitely recommend this Chinese restaurant and I will go here again.
Greasy!. Granted, we did order dumplings, crab rangoon, and chicken friend rice....and we did eat all of it....but this is greasy american-style chinese food at it's best. The surroundings were hip, yet traditional, and a bit overstated: note the numerous HUGE gongs everywhere. <br/ <br/ We'll be back, but only when craving a late-night hangover buster.
Pretty good food. If you can dine in rather than carry out or delivery (which I just realized I don?t know if they do because I always do carry out) I suggest dining in just once to take in the atmosphere. They have a lot of neat decor. Their staff havealways been great too.
I highly recommend this spot for a unique date night. The atmosphere is authentic and very much fine Chinese dinning. You must have the hot tea and I would recommend the crab Rangoon for and appetizer.

Simply the best. Hot and sour soup is the best anywhere. My wife doesn't like Chinese food, I finally coaxed her into eating at the China Cottage, now that is the only chinese food she will eat.
Top notch. The best sit down Chinese food in Dayton. Try their Mala Green Beans with Jellyfish for an authentic taste of Chinese cuisine. They have the best Hot and Sour soup in Ohio.
