It was TERRIBLE! Firstly, the name China Palace does not have any corelation to the decor, ambience nor service of this eatery. Upon entering, owner boss was eating at a table right near the entrance, then placing up fingers asking how many, which I indicated...back to him. Mouth chewing, still sitting, he points us to the back of the room. Ordering Dim Sums and the medium combination Roasts, nothing was palatable really!! Only the prawn dumplings which were steamed was hot, the rests were stone cold although it came out from the heating oven. Then the combo roasts came! Disgusting!! For $25/ only 7 slices of roast port and a quarter of soya chicken, which was full of bones! What a RIP OFF!!...
Found this place by referral, new owners have taken this place over about 12 months now and the chef has been cooking for over 30 years. We had pork, seafood, beef and chicken all came out very quickly was fresh, tender and very tasty. The...waitress was fast and friendly, beers put in the fridge with no corkage. I would recommend this place and the food to anyone as the best Chinese I have eaten from Shenzhen to Christmas Island and will be going back for the Plum Duck and chicken salted fish fried rice many times.
I was a couple times for dimming over the years, but went away recently. I was recommended all prices had increased squid had doubled in price. wait after 30min while the restaurant was empty, and the waitress noodles sorted. (no gloves) on a table that was done. squid was unusable so hard and tasteless, and the rest of the order was also terrible. I'll never be back.
The table service and atmosphere at this restaurant were lacking, but the food was exceptional. During lunch, we ordered four different types of dim sum. The standout dish was the prawn dumplings, with a very thin skin and flavorful prawn filling. It was truly a stunning dish. For dinner, we got the roast duck to take away, and it was absolutely fabulous.

The restaurant offers quick service and delicious Cantonese dishes, with BBQ meats displayed in the window. The DIM SUM selection is average. The customer service is so-so, but the main draw is the food. The interior of the restaurant may feel a bit cramped, but most customers eat quickly and leave. The restaurant is closed on Mondays.
absolutely the best Chinese food I've eaten for years, nothing to complain here. chicken fried rice, king garlic and bark meat dishes were for to die. great service and friendly staff. they can count us now as regulars because we will soon be very. Thank you.
We had a fantastic meal delivered to us promptly. The food was well-cooked and delicious, especially the honey chicken and S S Pork with BBQ rice. Highly recommend trying these dishes.
we just had a wonderful meal in the china palace. we had Szechuan beef, Satay chicken and special fried rice. all were wonderful. good price and friendly, helpful staff.

eat there often....Staff are friendly and eating is always excellent. restaurant itself is not posh, but eating makes for it.
One of many great Asian eateries in the area. Good portion sizes and have never disappointed. Always busy for takeaways.
