I am really amazed and disappointed at the reviews I see here about Jade Restaurant. The place is quite traditional a not so pretentious and overloaded Chinese decoration, with a small sweet lake with fish in the middle. It is quite large, always busy and the service is always impeccable. I have eaten in so many Chinese restaurants, in many different countries, most of which were actually operated by Chinese people. But this one I have to say is excellent! The food is always perfect and the portions are huge! Had doubts about visiting this restaurant, given the other review, but we fancied a change from standard German or Italian food and so gave it a go. Glad we did, as the meal Jade set dinner for two was delicious and, at EUR 28.00, fantastic value for money! We had a hearty soup to start with, followed by skewers of lamb cooked in alcohol at our table and then a huge mixed platter of beef, pork, prawns and duck as the main dish. To finish off, banana fritters in rum sauce! Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere with interesting features e.g. large water feature with huge carp coi fish in in front area . There are other less expensive dining options in town, but the quality of ingredients, taste and portions go beyond just satisfactory at Jade. Reservations are not necessary. The place is huge. Sit down at a cloth covered table with linen napkins in the authentic interior or, dine outside on the other side of the large windows facing Frankfurter Strasse. Entrees stay warm on heaters placed under serving plates. I recommend any dish with Ente (duck). The Huhn (chicken) gebraten with breast meat under a crispy topping is auch gut. I also recommend the Reis noodles with Garnele (shrimp) and Gemuse (veggies) sehr lecker!
I cannot understand the criticism here in many reviews. We have been regularly coming with the whole family for many years and all generations are thrilled. The restaurant is barrier-free and you sit comfortably on the large windows. As usual in Chinese cuisine, food can be a little fat, but very tasty and varied. In my opinion, it differs significantly from the usual fast snacks or buffets.

This is a time-honoured Chinese restaurant in Bad Nauheim which has kept its place for many years, a feat in itself in the fast-moving gastro scene. It saw a revamp a few years ago which has done it good, with some more Chinese features built into the space. The food is rather good as Chinese restaurants in Germany go and the service is attentive.
there are other less expensive restaurants in the city, but the quality of the ingredients, tastes and portions go over simply satisfactorily at jade.
It is nice, beautiful place to see, to be there and have a meal! Everything we have ordered was very tasty and fatty, of course. But so delicious!
Good portions, reasonable prices, unfortunately took longer, because there is only one cook at lunchtime. That's 4 stars.
