We've been enjoying food from this restaurant for years, but since the change in ownership or management, it hasn't been the same. The fried rice we had last night was undercooked, and the grains were all broken. The chicken fingers have lost their previous quality; the batter isn't as tender anymore. Even the chow mein has changed for the worse. Furthermore, charging $4.25 for an extra bag of chow mein noodles feels excessive—it's almost half the price of an entree. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be returning to this place any longer. Rest in peace, China Star; it was good while it lasted.
In my opinion, this restaurant offers the best quality and quantity. The service is quick, thanks to a fantastic staff. I've ordered food here multiple times and have never been disappointed. After moving to Florida, where finding good Chinese takeout is a challenge, I truly realized how much I appreciate China Star. I've been back here for a brief visit and have already ordered from them three times; today will make it four!
This restaurant was once a favorite, but the new management has completely ruined it. The food lacks flavor, and they've reduced portion sizes, making it feel like a scam. The egg rolls, which were previously the best, are now just hollow shells fried in low-quality oil. It's disappointing to see such a decline. I can't imagine how proud the parents of the new owners must be—what a shame!
i loveee the rice and the teriyaki steaks … they r the best! the rice is incredible they put egg in it … wish they put more lol and the teriyaki is so good i don’t bite into a big piece of fat it’s all beef ! and my son loves the Lo-mainmy go to Chinese restaurant in Fall River
