arrogant. we ordered pork, sweet and sour chicken, and chicken meat fried rice for the trip out. I don't even know what we have, but it's a sad one to try what we ordered. sweet and acidic chicken was fat, overbreaded bite with the soss in a cup on the side. pork chow my was soggy cauliflower with almost no vernacular, and dried, packed noodles on the side. the fried rice was fine ok. it is as if someone played the phone game to describe Chinese food, and that is the result. Definitiw would have preferred terrible mall food dish Chinese food, at least it resembles what they ordered.
6. juni 2022: buffet opened for the first time as it closed during the kovid. the price has risen up to 15.17 after the taxes have been collected. no more fountain drinks with the meal. soda or bottled water is extra. free options are hot or cold tea and lead water. menu missing some elements like the bbq gay. there was no more bare or gloomy. a little dissapointing.
After seeing the previous reviews, I was uncertain if I should give up this place a bit. I have the chicken lo mine and the general tso’s chicken. I couldn't be happier with the quality and eating. I plan to get the food here whenever I desire Chinese food, as it is the best Chinese food spot in the opposite.
Been coming here for years, even when I go out to try other Dover Chinese restaurants I just keep coming back to China Yan. Portion sizes are beyond excellent, service is quick and very friendly. I think all the food is delicious and love that they expanded their menu awhile back!
