Chinook's Salmon Bay

For beginners, the Focaccia bread they deliver at the beginning is phenomenal! Delicious, buttery and warm. It is a homemade recipe and we are glad that they provided us a second serving. This is also great for diving in all sauces you get with dishes (more on this later). We have the crabs and shrimps. Our friends have salmon and cod and fish and chips. The crab cakes were so delicate. The bread was soft and moist and it really helped to highlight the tenderness of the Dungeness crab. The shrimp sauce was perfectly cooked and the garlic butter sauce was fantastic. The potatoes that came were some of the best potatoes I ever had! My potatoes were somewhat overcooked compared to all others, making them a light moushier that was perfect for me. Finally, we have saved some of the Focaccia bread, so I was able to dip this into the scampi sauce. It was soooo delicious! It added even more butter and garlic to the bread I enjoyed. Our friend had a harder cod, but the manager was super nice, explained that their process the cables had a slightly different texture, but allowed them to order something else that they would love more. Service overall was super friendly and welcoming and I would like to recommend this place to others.

Delicious food, always great to come here with family especially right after visiting Discovery Park nearby. Been going to this location since about 2016 or 2017 and we love this place! Great, professional and friendly service, my family and I love all the menu items. The free bread is also delicious and the waiter refilled it for us generously as well. My sibling is vegetarian and when we asked to have the shrimp fettuccine without the shrimp, they were able to substitute it with zucchini and mushrooms without a problem!

Chinook’s has a beautiful environment for every occasion. The windy weather did not allow us to enjoy the outdoor area, but we have a fantastic view of the pier on the inside. Server was extremely helpful. The food was also well prepared.

Great food and service! However, $70.00 for the exchange 1 order of cod chips, 1 bowl chowder and 2 glasses wine was shocking on an already deflated pocketbook of a retired couple. It will be be beans or Ramin noodles for a while.
