If you find yourself in Warren, you should temper your culinary expectations, but Chido's stands out for a couple of reasons. First, they serve a remarkable bowl of house salad for the table, featuring fresh ingredients and one of the best dressings I've ever tasted. Additionally, Frank, the chef, cooks every meal in cast iron skillets, which are proudly displayed on the walls. He knows the ins and outs of each skillet, ensuring that every dish is prepared with care.

Absolutely disappointing! My girlfriend ordered the gnocchi, which looked appealing but was incredibly salty. It already contained ham, so the extra salt made it practically inedible. I tried the special, which was a Wagyu steak, and that was a letdown as well. It was served inside an oversized, soggy mushroom, smothered in a very light, unappetizing sauce. Given that it was Wagyu, I couldn’t understand why they would ruin it with such a poor attempt at a steak sauce. I usually enjoy mushrooms, but this one was too soggy and chewy to eat. We were seated immediately, as we always are, and greeted warmly. Our favorite waitress Deb was greeted us as well, my wife ordered the chicken parm, and I ordered the fish dinner and half-jokingly asked for three ribs. Deb brought the usual salad and warm bread, salad had a good amount of dressing and mixed veggies. When she brought our dinners she served my wife's chicken parm first, enough for two! Then she set my fish dinner in front of me and without seeing it, three BBQ ribs! We all had a good laugh and Deb said Lou says enjoy them! A business colleague and I stumbled on this gem, quite by accident. My poached salmon served in a delicious dill sauce was one of the best salmon dinners I have had. The all-you-could-eat salad served with an oil and vinegar dressing (with an overtone of sweetness) could have been a meal by itself. Despite the fact that we were strangers, the proprietress made us feel welcome and part of the family. I had/have two regrets: 1) that I didn't have a bigger appetite, and 3) that I don't live within driving distance. I look forward to my business reasons bringing me back, again.

Food was decent, but nothing I would travel out of my way for. Warren doesn't have a ton of food options, so I'll probably find myself there again. I had the Sicilian lasagna. It was about what I expected and if you're a lasagna fan, you'd probably like it enough to not be disappointed. Waitstaff was friendly, so that's a definite plus. The ambience wasn't stellar. Looks like the place hasn't been updated in some time, but maybe that's what they are going for. I'd at lease recommend replacing the dirty ceiling tiles in the back room.
This place was amazing! We were looking for Italian food in the area and found an absolute gem. We had escargot to start because we had never seen it on the menu before. The texture and flavor was fantastic. We also had fried provolone sticks which were delicious as well. For dinner my friend and I had the seafood alfredo which had a generous serving size with crab and shrimp. My other friend had the brisket and was incredibly satisfied. Highly recommend this place to anyone near or far.
I didn't have time to write this last night. I was mostly pleased with my dinner with a few exceptions. I ordered the captain's platter, it was tasty, the swordfish was dry, the shrimp were overcooked, some of the scallops were overcooked. The salmon was tasty. My wife had a delmonico steak, it was delicious. We found mold on the edge of the sour cream container towards the end of our meal. The service was very good. I feel it is a little dark inside, it could be a little lighter.
SECOND VISIT UPDATE: My girlfriend and I decided to give it another chance. This time, I avoided the prime rib, and let me tell you—the dishes we tried this time were much more impressive. We started with the Escargot and Sea Scallop Martini antipasti, both of which were delicious. For our entrees, we had the Shrimp Scampi and the Smoked Mozzarella Ravioli, and both were outstanding. We will definitely be returning, and I’ve upgraded my rating by one star.

I just finished my towering lasagna, which had just the right amount of sauce with a hint of sweetness that balanced out any bitterness. My wife really enjoyed her penne pasta with smoked salmon.
