We haven’t had very good experiences at this location in Glendora. The worst experience was after restaurants opened up from covid. The girl who “helped” us was awful. She acted like we were inconveniencing her when we wanted certain things on our order. This most recent time was barely slightly better. It was later on in the evening so it wasn’t as if they were busy. The girl “helping” us had no personality and wasn’t very friendly at all. The dining area was a complete disaster. Every table inside was dirty. Then it looked like someone was going to start cleaning tables and he went outside to clean! We had to ask for utensils and the area to get utensils and drinks was a mess. I don’t thin...
I used to really enjoy Chipotle. The food was fresh, healthy, and the staff was friendly. I don't often complain, but my experience last week was terrible. The food was not fresh, and the staff—including the manager—was rude and pushy, hurrying everyone through the line with constant questions about what we wanted. The portions were much smaller than I remember, and the prices are even higher now! Plus, why do they keep changing their recipes to make them spicier? Or is it just this particular Chipotle? We used to be a family that went to Chipotle once a week, but that changed about a year ago, and I’ve written this review to remind myself never to return.
It seems this location had an unexpectedly busy day and wasn't equipped to handle it, which is great for their long-term success but disappointing for diners like us tonight. I'm not blaming the staff for this; they genuinely did their best under the circumstances. However, the manager on duty could have been better trained, more knowledgeable, and empowered to bring in extra help when needed. Ultimately, this situation reflects more on the store management than on the hardworking staff.
What has happened to this place? The tables are frequently dirty, and the floors are strewn with food. The lettuce and guacamole were turning brown.
