I’m a huge fan of Chipotle, order from there all the time. But the Chipotle in Glen Ellyn has really gone downhill post Covid. I got in the habit of ordering online from there but 90% of the time my food isn’t ready at the promised time. Now I add 10-15 minutes and guess what, it’s still not ready. Tonight I showed up 10 minutes past the promised time and they hadn’t even started making my food yet because they’re helping walk-ins. When I point out to the cashier my foods not ready she says they’re making it now. I then proceeded to watch them bypass my now 30 minute old order to keep helping people who just walked in. For a while (years) this used to be one of the worst locations. The staff that seem like they were ‘cheaping’ their customers out by adding less portions of everything making it not worth the spending. They were also very rude and there was no diversity so these kids were operating a place that required actually knowing to cook and they absolutely could not. The Manager was always very nice to me and gave me my refund or a new bowl when my food was made wrong. They are smart to let the old staff go before enduring more damage to his store’s reputation.I can now say this is one of the best locations in the region and there’s not many that have a new staff this dedicated to ensuring customers...
We used to come here for years and years and it was great. The last year or so, the service has been horrible. My mobile orders are not even started when I arrive at the time they're supposed to be ready, I have to wait around for 10 minutes, and no one even pretends to be apologetic or friendly. This most recent time, the worker was chatting with two girls that were there to hang out with him. I will not be returning to this location, it is worth driving a bit further to go to a location that is decent.
I had a carnitas burrito and a chicken quesadilla. The burrito was delicious as always, just the way I like it. My real disappointment came with the quesadilla. Obviously a case of shrinkflation going on here, only two measly wedges of quesadilla, like taco size tortilla was used. Somehow it was overcooked on top of that. Guess I'll stick to making my own quesadillas from now on. Definitely not worth the money.

This location is a hit or miss for sure. My partner and I stopped going here about 2 months ago and started to go to the one in Wheaton. The inconsistency was becoming way too often(almost every time there was something wrong with our order) that it is worth the extra minutes to drive to Wheaton.
I’ve been to this location for so many times and usually I like my burritos with lime this location never had limes and then not really clean either they steak was really dry I got a extra barbacoa it was really dry too this location in Glen Ellyn is not really good really
Came in when they were still open for another 40 minutes on a Friday night and they said no more steak, the grill was closed. Open to 10 means open to 10, not stiff your customers so you can leave right at 10. Brutal!!!
This is the worst Chipotle. I ordered a Carne Asada burrito through DoorDash. It was half the size of a normal Chipotle, literally the same size as a Taco Bell bean burrito, with almost no meat.

Amazing service, nevertheless they need to stop with that ghetto music. It interrupts the beautiful music that chipotle plays. Ghetto. Music comes from the cooks
I used to live this location. I now find the staff to be impolite. I won’t be back.
