I wish I could give this location a 0; I absolutely would. The general manager Tom is an awful general manager that treats customers like grime. Here is a message from a Chipotle representative I received after reporting Tom on more than one occasion; however, I was never contacted by anyone. We love Chipotle. We eat it almost everywhere we travel. I’ve been to at least 30 different chipotles. The Springfield location is worst chipotle I’ve ever been to. It’s shocking how bad it is. Of my last four simple burrito mobile orders, three were wrong. The service is terrible and the staff in general is poor. The portion sizes are minuscule and do not align with the standards at any other chipotle. The chicken is often burnt. The store used to be excellent. I have no idea what happened but it’s been awful for years.
Edit: I work all over the country and for fair reasons when I first started coming to this location I was upset, so upset I left a bad review to share my frustrations. However recently I must admit it has been a MUCH better experience at this location, better portions, the food has been very fresh and good, the atmosphere has been better. Props to the management, they've done a very good job recently and if I can tell I'm sure others can too! Thank you for the work you do.
There was a young lady the first person in the line (serving food) tonight around 7:40pm who's there to make a ridicule of customers. She was just wasting time pretending she does not understand the difference between the black and brown beans. Could you please take that girl off the line for her poor customer service? The girl is a terrible customer service person. She has no professional reason to be on the front line.

Amazing service and employees,came late right before closing and they were very kind and generous. We seated outside after the working hours and they let one door unlocked for us to go in and refill the drinks. It's the only one in town. So if you want Mexican-style fast food this is one of two options. Or try one of the other actual Mexican restaurants in town (although we haven't found one up to our family standards). The best thing they do is fundraising. Also, why is the meat always lukewarm . . .
it's been awhile since i've LOVED my burrito bowl...this visit, it was perfect just the right amount of everything to make the flavors dance in my mouth! i got it to go, so i can't speak to the dining area; all staff were pleasant and helpful; easy peasy parking...i will be returning!
The unprofessionalism in this establishment is absolutely unacceptable. To disregard someone, and have them waiting over 45 minutes is insane! Very inconsiderate.

The employees here don’t know a thing. The restaurant will be empty and they will still mess up your order! Portion sizes are horrible too not to mention.
Food is delicious, and staff is awesome.. but we all know chipotle is giving less and less for more and more . Probably go to Walmart.
