No matter whether it comes to texture, flavor, freshness, preservability, or value Choc Cookies earns high praise from me. Their product is so much greater than many so called high quality artisan bakeries.Encountering Choc Cookies was a fun surprise that made my day. I had just moved into the neighborhood and was out for a walk, just exploring the area. I noticed a lot of people driving and walking behind the closed Bagel Street Cafe. Curiosity peaked, I followed the pedestrians to find some enterprising individuals selling cookies out of the back.I was hesitant to encourage my greedy waistline, but the earnestness of the Choc Team and the tantalizing aroma of their baked goods won me over....
If you can think of something better than driving around and looking for something to do or looking for a bakery and landing on Yelp to find a place that has big warm soft chewy delicious chocolate chip cookies you 'll have to tell me later. I can 't hear you above all my chewing. The cookies are lovely with just the right amount of softness and perfect sweetness. I 'm a cookie snob and never eat packaged cookies and only like my cookies fresh and warm, so I 'm in cc cookie heaven. They are really big and yes I ate the entire cookie while sitting in the car. For the price you pay, these cookies are very large and dense. But that’s the only thing it has going for it. In the evenings, you go to the back of the store and you can’t enjoy the cookies in a sit down setting. You have to buy a minimum of 4 which is a bit unnecessary especially if you only want one. The quality of their chocolate is good. However the batter was okay. If I will be honest the standard of the batter is no different than getting the ingredients from a store like safeway. Overall the experience was just okay.
IS THIS STORE STILL OPEN? I stopped by on a Saturday (8/27) around 5 PM, and according to their hours, they should have been open until 10 PM, but they were closed. I checked the back door, and it was locked. When I went around to the front, it was evident that Bagel Cafe was not operating. I’m really disappointed because I was looking forward to some warm cookies.

Great cookie if your in the area. -The size of the cookies is big -Sweetness is just right -The texture is soft and chewy in the middle with soft crunches at the edges -pickup at night is a bit confusing, just drive to the back of the bagel shop and you'll see the back/service door , dude should be there with the cookies.
The bagels are tasty, but in my last two visits, when I requested them to be toasted, they ended up being burnt—almost completely black. I've included some pictures of both. Additionally, I've noticed they've raised their prices; the cheapest bagel is now $1.75.
Premium price for giant and decent tasting cookies. They offer to warm them if you want to eat them right away, which is nice. Otherwise, you can heat them up in the microwave for 20 seconds, and they come out soft and great for consuming with cold milk.
This place frequently sells out of their most popular bagels by 10 AM on weekends. I've visited 4-5 times hoping to find jalapeño bagels around noon, but they are always out of stock. I won't be coming back, as I can get plain bagels anywhere.

Don't get it from the bagel shop. Must get it in the evenings from the back door. Cookies from the bagel shop case were old and stale. Cookies crumbled and tasted like it was many days old. Only bought to toss to garbage.
Delicious cookie but would agree it's not 10/10. Just a above normal cookie you could bake in oven at home. Not worth the money when you have to buy four from the back of the bakery
