Chocolateria San Churro

I had been wanting to come here for ages, but couldn't justify $20 on a dessert, even if it does serve two. So when I heard about free birthday churros I was cheering. The milk chocolate dipping sauce was very sweet and decadent, but the churros were pretty disappointing. They were hard and cracker like, not the fluffy, fried donut goodness I have had elsewhere. They served to eat the chocolate with, but didn't stand up on their own. I can't complain because they were free, but I woukd have been disappointed if I'd paid for them.

We visit for coffee and cake after lunching nearby. The Cappuccino is good but is served warm. I ask for it to be microwaved and this beverage is vastly improved. The Chocolate Cheesecake is a generous serve and is delicious!

Chocolate chocolate and MOAR chocolate!! Don't know what to have? Get the fondue for two - great selection of sweets, chocolate, fruit and some savoury.
