This restaurant has the best Afghan food, especially if the owner (Najib jaan) is there--the food will be extra delicious. He is also very nice and hospitable. We have been coming here since the restaurant first opened, and they don't disappoint. The rice has such a fragrant aroma that will open up your appetite. Their eggplant is never bitter, and tastes just right--even to someone who isn't a fan of eggplant. The aush is delicious. They put a homemade yogurt in it, but for some reason, it tasted cheesy to me. I really enjoyed their aush even though I typically don't like homemade yogurt as it's usually sour. The restaurant seems to be good, with a lot of space. The food was just ok, there are definitely better places out there with the same price tag but much higher food quality. The quantity of food was also not the best. They sell it as a BBQ item, which was literally a full bowl of rice with few BBq chunks. Staff were a little edgy, as we ordered a take away near the closing time. Personally it was a disappointing experience.
Don?t walk just runs to eat. The best Afghan food ever. I think the price is very adorable than other Afghan restaurants. The food portion is very large full. Very busy place so if you can make a reservation before you go. Taking one star out because of the cleanliness, the tables are so sticky otherwise food are people they are amazing.
Where to begin?!? I?ve been coming here for years and never once have been disappointed. Every single thing from here is amazing. I usually go with the combination platter and a few apps. Their monti and samosas are phenomenal and the soups are really good too. More than anything their white sauce is one of a kind

This place makes very good authentic food and prices are reasonable. Food is tasty. Place is neat and clean. Everything I've had here is delicious. I can't believe I lived here two years and only just recently tried it. It's truly a hidden gem in Hicksville. Must go there once
The Afghan cuisine at this restaurant is average. The kebabs can be inconsistent, with some cooked perfectly and others overcooked, dry, or burnt. The prices are reasonable and portions are good. The service is adequate.
This restaurant is our favorite, even though it's a 40-minute drive away. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the service is top-notch. We keep coming back because of the amazing food and service. Thank you!
I have never had better Afghani food than at this restaurant. The kabobs are incredibly juicy and tender, and the green and yogurt sauces are delightful. It is simply perfect!
