Supporting Ukraine's foods well There is a bit of a diner feeling, but the food is really much higher than that could suspect. Very nice selection of food from all over Europe. Specialized in Ukrainian food. Would recommend We landed here as a little happy accident. A nearby place where we were planning to eat had closed their seats. In the past, because of a potato defence, I had no value for Eastern Europeans. But this place has such a fantastic mix that even with knocking some clips I still had many options to choose from.
Good food and heart. I felt compelled to write a review. I did not order the lunch of Christine's yesterday to realize that they kept their fundraiser, where 100% of the profits were donated to support Ukraine. There won a ton of advertising for a small kitchen and there were long waiting times as a result. I heard many rude comments during waiting, some under breath, many made directly to the staff. But the staff reacted negatively by fulfilling orders. The food was delicious as always and worth waiting.
The Pirogies are great (Note that they do not taste exactly like traditional authentic polish Pierogis, made from Hamtramck, you know! but they are still good. I also recommend the Athena salad, the dressing for it tastes a little like traditional fattoush dressing I add black beans for vegetarian protein and its delicious (kept). I ran this salad on 10.11.21, my friend had chicken on his. As you can see in my photos, the great size to go container is a huge part.
The Pierogies were delicious. My wife ordered the comb plate with sausage, bread sauerkraut with onions. I ordered 10 pierogies with potatoes pancakes with apple sauce. Our first time there and the food that was bussin, the place was clean and the staff was friendly and beautiful. Our favorite new place now for homemade fresh food.
