On one hand I have enjoyed the best kebab ever from here (about 2 years ago but on the other I have had, by far, the worst. The chips are often not cooked thru (this should NEVER happen in a chippy-how hard can it be to cook a chip?? and the fish is sometimes still swimming-but in oil. Confusion reigns virtually every time we order for the family (6 and I am struggling to recall a time when our order was correct. I was also surprised once to be sold pitta bread that was totally black-initially I assumed it was a joke and that I would find a replacement but no. I live behind this place and for the last 10 years they have over charged, got orders wrong and staff have been rude. My children go to order food without me as we live so close and they charge EXTRA for the food as no adult is present. The owner is not welcoming and his son is even ruder. I have had orders wrong. I used this chip shop as it is convienient for where I live. I now go else where as everything is better on the high street in Winslow. I would recommend anybody and everybody to give this place a wide birth. The food isn't great quality but even if it's not great and staff are good you will still use it. I decided to stop by this restaurant to try it out because the fish and chip shop on the main street was crowded and I was in a hurry. Unfortunately, I was met by very unfriendly staff who simply stared at me and didn't say a word. They seemed bothered by my presence and stood with their arms crossed while waiting for the food to cook. It's no surprise that this place is empty, even before trying the food. I won't be returning, the other fish and chip shop in Winslow is popular for a reason. It's unfortunate that this small business is operating in such a manner.
The girl who served me was lovely but the man cooking was very rude, he got stressed because I wanted a battered sausage and there wasn't any ready. It's not the first time either he's always shouting at the other members of staff and makes me feel like I'm an inconvenience to him when I'm just trying to but my dinner. Very rude arrogant person. I'd give 0 stars if possible but the young girl on the counter earns the 1 star. I won't be going back not a nice experience chubby stop being so rude and people may come for their dinner

Every time I visit this restaurant, I always order the Rock Salmon - it's an excellent meal. The chips are also fantastic, and the service is friendly. If there's a wait, it's because the food is being cooked fresh. I haven't been able to find a better place for takeout fish and chips in the area. - Dave
The fish at this restaurant is incredibly delicious, but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. They charge extra when your teenager orders dinner, and attempting to communicate with the staff is extremely difficult. I don't plan on returning anytime soon.
Good food and good size portions never gone wrong. Only drawback is they tend to close early during the week but apart from that delicious!
The second best fish and chip shop in Winslow. Reasonable quality but the fish is very fatty and difficult to stomach a whole portion.

Always good service for chips and a veggie burger. Have always stayed open for me if you get there late too.
