The best halal Chinese in Birmingham, this takeaway has been open for over 30 years. The owner is friendly yet slightly creepy, reminding me that he has been doing this before I was even born. He mentioned his wife also had a hand in running the business. The interior was tidy and well-kept, and with the owner's assistance, I selected my dishes and decided on the level of spiciness I preferred. Felt welcome the second I walked in. He went through what was the best options in the menu according to our likes. Once we ordered the food, he kept us company whilst we waited and also showed us that they are in fact halal all meat served is halal. Food arrived quite quickly. The food was served hot and tasted amazing. Probably will become a regular! Plus he gave us prawn crackers on the house.

This restaurant is one of my favorites for a reason. The food is amazing and the friendly service only adds to the experience. The beef dish I had was so tender and flavorful. The owner even assured me that the meat supplier is HMC halal approved. This is a takeout-only establishment, but the trip from anywhere in Birmingham is well worth it. I give it a 5-star rating!

I have been a loyal customer of this Chinese takeout for more than two decades. Despite moving away, I always make sure to return for their delicious food and excellent service.
