Church's has been open for a few months, and I've visited several times since their launch. Usually, the food I receive is warm and fresh. While it may not be remarkable, it's certainly decent. I especially love the honey biscuits—they're fantastic! The staff has consistently been polite to me. However, I've faced delays during almost every visit. On two occasions, I had to leave without placing an order because nobody acknowledged me at the drive-thru, even after waiting for more than fifteen minutes.
I was a little disappointed. I remember that would be the only place I would ever get chicken from, so when Plainview finally got one I was excited. The biscuits with the honey glaze are still excellent. The chicken on the other hand was a bigdisappointment. It was fresh but completely flavorless. Nothing no spices, no salt, just chicken dipped in whatever and deepfried. Right now Kentucky Fried Chicken or Chicken Express have my vote.
The service was courteous and prompt, though nothing particularly remarkable stood out, positively or negatively. The food appeared to be slightly undercooked; it could have benefited from a bit more time in the warmer to finish cooking thoroughly. The drive-thru experience was average for a chicken restaurant. Overall, it felt like a typical fast food chicken joint that uses "Texas" in its name to evoke a sense of patriotism.
I placed an online order and went to pick up my food, only to discover that the item I ordered was no longer available. They informed me that I could cancel my order for a refund to my credit card, but I couldn't do it online and had to contact the store directly. I tried calling several times, but no one answered. Unfortunately, it seems I'm out $17.30. I would advise against placing online orders.

You cannot cancel the order online and you are supposed to contact the store directly. Itried calling numerous times and they will not answer the phone. I guess I'm just out the $17.30. I suggest not ordering online.
I had a great experience with my meal, as the food was freshly made. I ordered the five-piece tender combo and was very satisfied with the quality. The customer service was outstanding; they ensured that everything I ordered was included in the bag. The only minor issues were that there were no napkins provided, and the tables had a few crumbs on them.
Waited inside for longer than expected when we were the only ones. We paid $47 for a big family meal. VERY DISAPPOINTED, the chicken was a little dry, the okra tasted like I put a penny in my mouth and they were cold. The tea was great as were the biscuits. I really want my money back, that's $47 I wasted.
A one star is to high. Roll was like a rock. Chicken strips were all crust. We drove 25 miles to get this sorry meal. The next time I am back in Plainview. I will demand my money back. They should be a shamed.

The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. However, I wish the shrimp and chicken were consistently seasoned, as I was disappointed with my meal today.
The chicken is small and has fur on it still ..... they are nice....idk if the stores clean I have not been in there.
