We wanted to try this restaurant based on TA reviews and were glad we did! We went for lunch and had 1 order of piri piri chicken plenty for 2 at lunch. We started off with the usual couvert of bread, olives and marinated carrots. The carrots had been an unexpected touch with our dinner at another restaurant the previous night but the spices in these were really good lots of garlic! We also got a half liter of sangria very refreshing! I had read somewhere about the chocolate mousse and even though we rarely have dessert we went for it. Chocolate coma! It was thick, rich and so delicious! Our total tab was 13.30€. Definitely a place to return to if we get back to Loule!
Visited this restaurant twice. First time I was disappointed. We decided to try it again two years later because of the predominantly positive reviews on this platform. Even worse than the first time. Arrived at 1:30 PM, with only one more table occupied. The kitchen was cleaning up and didn't look too happy to fire up the stove again. We ordered the dish of the day (some pork dish) and a steak. Both totally dry and tasteless. This was our last attempt.
Go here every year when I visit Portugal. Its the best Barbecue chicken around, and believe me Ive tried most of them! My father and I have been coming here for over 10 years and their standard never falls.The owners are always very friendly and remember familiar faces! I also like the fact that you can order a liquor with your coffee and just relax in the freindly atmosphere after your meal. Highly recommended!.
O nosso restaurante português preferido. Este ano (2023) fomos lá 3 vezes (cerca de 1 hora de carro para chegar). Excelente comida e serviço em todas as ocasiões. Em 2024 continua o mesmo serviço e uma excelente refeição. No entanto, um aumento de quase 50% para o mix de grelhados (16 euros em 2023 e 24 euros em 2024, gorjeta e bebida incluídas) Réservez une table maintenant
Sunday lunch on the terrace outside. After the new rules were brought in this is the perfect place to come. Even though the terrace is on the road you wouldn’t know it. If you don’t conform to the new rules to eat inside, book. Amazing, relaxing, everything you want from the best chicken in the algarve let alone Loulé
