Came here to eat within the last week, place was empty which really rang alarm bells, they were more concerned with their takeaway business than in checking the customers who were eating at the table, the food was not the best we have eaten and some of the portions were not very big the noodle dish which at the end of the day is mainly noodles was very small in comparison to the meat dishes, our son and his partner ordered the set meal , prawn crackers were placed on the table before we had even ordered drinks let alone food we didn't eat them as they looked very greasy and old, and when we asked where the prawn crackers were off his meal we were told these were them, said how can this be wh...
tried this place for the first time last night..order came really fast we were impressed!! we ordered mix starter for two... ribs ,seaweed,mini spring rolls,chicken on skewers and prawn toast with a tub of sweet n sour sauce.. the chicken on skewers were rather dry and the prawn toast was rather greasy and not freshly cooked we ended up leaving it..the rest was ok ..we also ordered a crab meat n sweetcorn soup and a chicken and noodle soup ..both were delicious they also sent free salt and pepper wings which were awesome...the mains were prawn balls with sweet n sour ..bit doughy but still nice and a special chow mein a special fried rice and a tub of curry both really tasty ..I'd definitely...
We ordered a good sized order for the 5 of us, it was 1 hr 20 mins still not arrived , we then called twice to see where our order was to be told it is on its way and the boss is out delivering the food, from the time we 1 st called to see where it was it took half hr, 5 min drive and the roads are dead at the minute too so where was it, the food was just warm and had to be put in the microwave, so the battered foods were soggy and chips were dry and like rubber. The boss on delivery did Not want to know at all he just chuttered something and dashed off NEVER AGAIN WILL WE USE THIS SHOP!
We had a meal early on the Sunday evening. The restaurant was quiet, but welcoming. I had the beef and ginger with rice, my wife had lemon chicken and chips. Everything was very tasty, the beef tender, breast of chicken good quality, lovely chips. Both meals were very good size portions.Best Chinese meal we have had in years. Wish they were in Blackburn.

My companion and I ordered the mixed starter for two and sweet and sour chicken. The food arrived promptly, within about 10 minutes, but it was clear that it had been served pre-cooked. The prawn toast was soggy, the satay chicken lacked satay and was dry, and the sweet and sour chicken was stodgy and inedible, with a unpleasantly bright red sauce.
Once again party at food palace staff as usual friendly and very attentative couldnt have better service food excellent as it always is for those that have the buffet or set menus please go to main menu selection is excellent and portions are enough for 2 so ideal for sharing sui mai and dim sum fantastic this place cant be
Last night, my wife and I enjoyed a delicious takeout from this restaurant. The mushroom foo yung was fresh and flavorful, and the beef in black bean sauce was also superb. Additionally, the salt and chili chips and egg fried rice were hot and delicious. We highly recommend this place!
The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing with top-notch service. I have been to many restaurants, and this one is definitely one of the best. I would give it a 10/10 for both the service and the food quality.

We had a wonderful meal at the Food Palace on 23.1.2020. We chose the super buffet at £14.99 fir three courses. Very good value and big portions. All food hot and delicious. Would recommend this restaurant.
