I gave it several chances ,but they always skimp on meat and pile the veggies, yet charge higher prices. I don’t mind paying a premium for actual quality food, but this isn’t it by a long shot. They ran out of hummus and stuck in some burned eggplant as a side instead which i didn’t realize until I got home and called them. If it wasn’t available, why wouldn’t you contact the customer or at least tell me when I was picking up?! What if I was allergic to eggplant?? The guy at the counter always has a grumpy attitude and the food itself is not seasoned properly and the meat is skimped on and the salad is piled on etc.
Very simple take out place we came across driving home late. The place is modern and very clean, staff was very pleasant despite being quite young. We are spoiled by Mediterranean/middle-Eastern food, but the food was absolutely delicious despite the place being a tiny hole in a wall . Babaganoush was deliciously spiced, corn was absolutely mouthwatering. I ordered small falafel sandwich (pita pocket) and my husband had chicken sandwich and fries, all was delicious. My only regret is they are too far away from us, but we already made plans to come back if we are driving by.
3rd time doing a pickup order at the Maplewood location. I order 2 Sammy's..had to explain to the cashier what it was even though it's an item on the menu and then he let me leave without pita. When I called to ask he said the Sammy's are never served with pita bread. Seriously, it on the menu online a pic of the Sammy in a pita, in addition to being in the description on the menu in the restaurant. What's the point of pics and descriptions if the staff doesn't know the items.? Poor service all round because he was adamant that there was no pita served with the Sammy.
Can you play us, nice people, but man! This food is spectacular. I got the salad with schnitzel, and it blew my mind. Delicious, came with loads of sauces, and the most delicious freshest dressing. Large portion to and I can’t believe it was only $12… The pita is thick, fluffy, and warm. Wish there was a place like this near where I live! Good job guys!

We tried takeout from Chutzpah Kitchen for the first time last night—fried artichokes, hummus and falafel bowl, zaatar pitas, Israeli salad, and baba ganoush. Everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The baba ganoush was absolutely exceptional! The addition of pomegranate seeds was a fantastic touch. We’ll definitely be returning.
I really wanted to like this, but the food isn 't salted well enough and they are missing some spice, to taste like the middle eastern food I 'm used to. I tried it again, then one more time, but sorry, it isn 't more than okay. I 'd rather go to Uncle Momo 's or Antika in Montclair to get the authentic flavor.
The pitas are excellent, and the hummus is absolutely the best I've ever had. Every dish is packed with flavor and truly delicious. I often find myself craving their food. It's a wonderful spot with welcoming staff and fantastic cuisine.
Amazing place! Best hummus I have had since moving to the east coast, better than anything I have tried in Manhattan as well. Zaatar fries also excellent. Would highly recommend.

Delicious fast-casual Israeli cuisine! I tried the cauliflower shawarma and would definitely have it again!
Order the sabich sandwich with fries and a side of baba ghanoush to share—it's absolutely delicious!
