Ciao Baby - Réserver une table

First of all let me say that I’ve been here several times lately and the food has been very good . I really gave some thought should I write this review as I like the food but some things unfortunately leave a sour taste . Booked a table on NYE so had to pay a deposit as everyone did , great table and good service , food was up to the usual standard . But what did cheese me off was the “other drinks” on the bill which I questioned to be told that was the service charge that they decided to add without mentioning . Then they “forgot” to deduct the deposit paid when booking . Come on , everyone in the place that night had to pay a deposit . Still left a decent tip for the service and food but don’t try to hoodwink me.Make your own mind up but it’s gone from being one of my favourite places to being a not to be visited again place sadly. Don’t get greedy not all customers are too drunk or preoccupied to realise, that aside food and service were good.

Booked for a family birthday after hearing good reports. Food was OK but nothing special and unfortunately served on black plates with large whites chips on the edge. When we brought this to the attention of the waiter the response was “ yea, I know”. All Sadly, disappointed in the service and the all round dining experience. What not what we had expected.

Ordered minestrone soup, tomato garlic bread, and the pizza Rustica. They were all good. Staff were friendly and polite. The food was hot and plentiful. For a Tuesday night in January, it was busy in there, and I now know why. Will definitely return and recommend.

Had a really lovely meal. Food very good. Felt the service was a little rushed. Drinks expensive . Large wine and Soda £8.90.!!!! think I should of queried . But will be back.
