This is usually our family’s Italian restaurant of choice to meet up at as we all like the food it’s conveniently placed. However, on Saturday evening just gone we experienced the family from hell right behind us they just took it upon themselves to shout and scream at their kids, let the kids bounce up down on the seating , run around and adults could not care less, with the noise just getting louder and louder. The staff didn’t seem to bother about it , and proceeded to shout at us extra loud to deliver our meals as they couldn’t hear themselves think with the noise !! Went easter Sunday, we arrived early as I couldn't remember the time I had booked for. No problem had a drink in the bar area while we waited. We didn't wait long even though they were busy. Shown to our table and ordered our meal. Starters arrived well presented and got where needed to be, very tasty and we did share them between ourselves. They kindly gave us time in between courses which is always good for me. The king and Queen dish which I had was amazing the fish was perfectly cooked nothing worse than under our overcooked). awful service. i came in 2 hours previous to drop off a ballon for the table. the name and time was written on and they said they would put it on the table whilst setting up. we were shown to our table 20 mins after the time we booked and no baloon. waitress said there was no baloon and nothing ever mentioned. the waitress who took my baloon was not seen for the rest of the night. service was awful we could hear kitchen staff having a go at waitresses and a long wait for the bill. 30 mins for the bill to be brought after deserts had been cleared. food was really good so was a shame it was let down with the poor service and loosing the baloon which was sentimental to the night.

Dining at Ciao Baby was a birthday treat for my friend’s 96th birthday … and the evening was a huge success. We were warmly greeted by Rob, the owner, escorted to a booth (I LOVE a booth!! and chose to celebrate with a glass of house red (always delicious! The menu was extensive, the selection of specials inspirational … and the food was incredible!! The icing on the cake (literally was when Rob Brad walked out with a lit candle on a dessert, singing Happy Birthday. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening … and a memorable birthday !! Visited with family for mum and dads 61st anniversary meal. Mentioned this to the waitress on arrival and delighted when she remembered and brought over one of the desserts with a candle in at end of meal! All the food was delicious we had a range of starters and shared garlic bread, then duck, sea bass, steaks and the very popular kings and queens dish! Service was great throughout the meal. Not the cheapest venue (but depends what you have, of course! Pasta and pizza dishes more reasonable) but would thoroughly recommend.

Went with work colleagues. Despite being a large party the service was fantastic. Food too was amazing. I had scallops in peppers for starter. A bit rustic but beautifully cooked and flavoured. My lemon sole with crab meat in pernod sauce was also brilliant. I worried the sauce would overwhelm it, but it was really delicate and tested lovely. Reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit.

Waited over an hour and a half for our meal. Very poor service long waiting times even though we had booked and no apology. Scrimping on potatoes and veg between 5 of us. Please also sort your ladies toilets out, loose seat l, wet toilet roll and floor saturated in something, I dread to think! Won't bother returning. Spoiled our evening as didn't have time or even want a dessert!

Food was good but what ruined it was the bar. I don't consider myself a fussy drinker but no apple cider only beers where morreti or peroni and Guinness wasn't on draft ended up with red wine which I like but not something that I wanted at the time. Réservez une table maintenant

Family meal for 6 people celebrating a birthday. Food was good, but the service was shocking, had to chase multiple things up all night. Way below what we would normally expect. Not a great experience.

Absolutely amazing food. Service fantastic. All staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere. Very clean.
