"Amazing soup, fresh bread and fresh ingredients. My husband had the fettuccine Alfredo and enjoyed all of it. I had the gnocchi and it was good but I've had better. Tartufo was delicious. The server was great and very attentive."

Ciao Bella USED to be good. I used to enjoy it. However, they CANNOT handle holidays. I just left (without eating dinner!! the restaurant for Mother’s Day and I will never be back. Business lost forever. Now this is not my first rodeo with Ciao Bella for holidays. They’ve ruined a NYE and a Valentine’s Day on me. I have not been back since Valentine’s 2018. I thought we’d give them another whirl to redeem themselves and damnit was I wrong, big time. Mother’s Day at Ciao Bella was probably my worst experience in dining out in recent months. I knew it was going to go south when our reservation was running “a half hour late”. Well, an hour later we were seated. Took another 20 minutes for us to...

My wife and I came here for dinner Sunday. We usually love Ciao Bella’s food and service but this year they have been very poor to the point that I feel the need to leave a review. Service was so poor. We had arrived at 5:30, ate, had 1 set of drinks, and skipped dessert. Spent $130 and left at 7:40. First set of drinks and appetizer took nearly 45 minutes to get to us. Dinner took an additional 45 minutes. Our server forgot our second set of drinks. It took 25 minutes to get a carry out box. My filet mignon tastes like a charred shoe at medium rare. And yes I DO cook my own steak and it would cost me significantly less and taste much better. The only thing that came quickly was the check… M...

We dined in for appetizers and ordered our food to go. My wife got the lemon whitefish which was good not great, came on a bed of spinach, a little too lemony but cooked very well. It was just missing something, maybe a pasta. I ordered the lasagna. I was very disappointed to say the least. It was flat with no filling between the layers, the lasagna was maybe 3/4 thick. 3 wide by 4 long. Not what you would expect from a $25 lasagna in an Italian restaurant. The sauce tasted fine but you could tell it was definitely microwaved with all the cheese and sauce melted all over like a tomato soup on top. All in all, very disappointed. Not worth the $65

We have been Two Ciao Twice now, Food was Ok, needed seasoning, Not great for the price. Drinks were to expensive w/ Chicago Pricing. Service was very good. We walked off the street on a Friday and we’re seated at 7:pm. Not a good sign for an upscale Italian restaurant. With that all being said The One Thing That Drove Us Crazy was the added Tables it’s like a School bus, People our on top of each other, The staff can barely walk and serve, I feel sorry for the staff. I hope the owners know , Make your customers feel welcome . Just My Thoughts.
