There used to be an excellent large café on this site which closed for some unknown reason. Cibo occupies half the area and offers half the selection, which is a problem for old-timers! Nevertheless, Cibo has many good things to offer: a good range of seating, friendly service, an adequate choice of cakes, and good coffee and orange juice. As well as coffee and cake, there is a choice of lunch menus. There is also off-street parking behind, and clean toilets. So, a good experience, but perhaps lacking that 'little extra' which would make us want to go out of our way for a return visit.
If you are visiting the shops at Brickworks then stop in at Cibo for a quick coffee. There are a number of spots for a coffee within the centre but I have found Cibo to be one of the better and consistent spots to stop for a great cuppa. The staff are friendly and the beverages/food is always great. If you visit Cibo on a regular basis I also recommend joining My Cibo which can be used to collect loyalty points which can be redeemed for coffee.
My regular coffee haunt changed hands after 9 years So I thought I'd try this newly opened Cibo, just down the road from work. After just 5 visits they remembered my name my coffee order. The staff are all fabulous, the service quick when...it needs to be leisurely if you want to chat. The coffee exactly how I like it..... A daily highlight..
Well as you know I love my coffee , and it's even better when you drive miles for it ,it's tastier ... I drive from one end of town to Torrensville and seriously they deliver and I must have to admit when you get served...by a passionate Italian it's awesome ... Don't believe me? Come and try one
