Cieslak's Modern Bakery

My family loved this bakery for 4 generations. I'm still going there. My daughter and niece are going there now. It started with my grandmother many years ago. It was her favorite bakery and belongs to us. Very recommended. Our favorite things are the apple conversions, the seven layers, oh their boiled icing is the best. It's okay.

Delicious!! Apple Strudel (size cut to order), Rainbow Cannoli Special, and beautiful Raisin Tea Biscuit. Great, friendly service, comparable prices. Masked, 3 customer at a time. Breads, pies, cookies... all looked yummy. Will be back to try something different. Metered street parking. Website shows 6 am open on weekends.

It just doesn't get any better than this! I had the great good fortune to work here as a teen back in the 70s when the founder still made sourdough magic happen at night. I am happy to report that the smell and taste are as wonderful now as they were under Pop's watchful eye.

The best raspberry crumbs around!!!! People possess and work there are all helpful and pleasant!! I never had one thing I don't like!
