This restaurant's just became my new favorite Mexican restaurant. We ordered guacamole as so appetizer, chicken and steak tacos as entree, and tres leches as dessert. Everything was delicious. Guacamole tasted like it's made of fresh ingredients. Steak in the tacos was very good quality meat cooked to a perfect degree. We also got signature margaritas, which were very good. The ambiance is great, and the service is attentive and fast. I also like it that their menu is not too long, but contain many good options. We'll definitely be back!
Cilantro is always a lot of fun! Food is pretty tasty and the margs are great. You have to be careful though, their margaritas are delightfully full of alcohol and if you’re not care will get to you! The appetizers are all huge. The staff are all very attentive as friendly. Certainly a place to go!
A good salad is hard to find. But you can’t go wrong at this UWS Tex Mex eatery. You millennials can have your Chopped and your Sweet Greens! When you’re ready for a real salad, prepared with TLC by a chef instead of by an assembly line, come here! The dressings are great too.
We are fans of Cilantro and come relatively frequently. It’s not a fancy place, but for a local Mexican restaurant, it it great. We really like the steak and the chicken mole enchiladas. The margaritas are tasty (and a bit stronger than they taste).

On vacation in New York and me and my family love the food AND service! waiters were extremely nice and made us feel welcome. and food was just delicious, the best steak tacos i’ve had.
Anything carne is simply tender and tasty. I love the chips (both plantain and corn) and spicy salsa, which are free. Cocktails are better on the rock than frozen. Excellent service.
