This is my first time at the place, and when you walk in it's not super inviting or cozy but they definitely try to separate out the kitchen area from the dining area. I have to say everything that we ate was delicious! The dips, the appetizers, and the vegetarian stew were all really well seasoned and tasted amazing. But at 9:00 on a Wednesday we seem to be the last people there and understandably they wanted to go home so I would say this is not a place where you can comfortably sit and chat with a bottle of wine with your friends.
For our main courses, we ordered the shrimp casserole, chicken shish, grilled salmon, and the Bodrum Cokertme with lamb. The lamb dish was very flavorful, but I would recommend skipping the fries, as they became soggy. The other main dishes were all well received.
To finish off the meal, we shared Baklava and Kazandibi custard for dessert, both of which were a lovely conclusion to a satisfying meal. The service was good, and it's a BYO establishment, which is always a plus. I recommend giving it a try; I think you'll be pleased!
I started with hummus and pita bread as an appetizer. The hummus was just okay; it could have used more flavor. It wasn’t the worst I’ve had, but certainly not the best either. For dinner, my friend chose Turkish dumplings and really enjoyed them. I opted for a Doner Kabob wrap, which was delicious and definitely an improvement over the hummus.
Overall, Cinar is a pretty solid choice, and I would be happy to return in the future.
If you're in search of Mediterranean cuisine that truly satisfies, this is the place to go. The ingredients are fresh, and the food is always delicious and expertly prepared. The service is outstanding as well. I highly recommend it!

The white sauce was spoiled, the red sauce was just Frank's, the pita was store-bought, and the salad was mostly cucumbers. We won’t be ordering from here again.
Excellent service here. The chicken kabobs were amazing tender and seasoned to perfection. Ended with delicious rice pudding. We’ll be back!!!
The food here is absolutely amazing—definitely the best in New Jersey! If you don't take my word for it, just give it a try!
